GOVERNMENT AGENCIES OR PRIVATE SECTOR COMPANIES: JTPA, VOCREHAB, PIC, Trade Act TUITION RANGE: $120 per credit hour FINANCIAL AID: All Title IV Funding SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABILITY: The Murray Coulter Scholarship: awarded to one high school senior annually. Based upon academic, extra-curricular activities, a desire to succeed and a commitment to make a positive contribution to others. Recipient receives all tuition, books, and fees for one academic year (three quarters). Honors Scholarship: awarded to high school graduates who maintained a 3.0 grade point average while in high school. Also graduates of the GED program who score 270 or higher will receive this scholarship. Full-time students may receive up to $600 while completing their first 48 hours of course work. The Joseph E. Hurn Scholarship: awarded upon completion of the first 48 credit hours to students who have maintained a 3.0 grade point average. If the GPA remains a 3.0 or higher, the full-time student would receive up to $750 for the next 48 credit hours. The Advanced Studies Scholarship: awarded to degree candidates who would benefit from additional course of study. The student must have completed 96 credit hours with a 2.0 GPA. The student must be enrolled for a minimum 8 credit hours and maintain a 2.0 GPA. The award is for $50 per class up to a maximum of $600 per academic year. STUDENT SERVICES: The College supports its students through faculty advising, financial planning and career planning services on a continual basis. Student survey results have indicated the the services offered by National Mesh nicely with their individual needs. If a student demonstates a problem with alcohol, drugs, marital problems, or the like, College personnel are always available to direct hte student to the proper commnity agency that is designed to handle their situation.
